Quick update - Groups beginning to arrive back from sailing at Loch Morlich, canoing at Insch, gorge walking, skiing, archery and cycling. Looking forward to gathering in cameras from sraff to upload photographs later. Staff are really impressed by the positive attitude of the children and the way they are engaging in all of their activities. Circus skills was a great success last night  and everyone is looking forward to capoeira this evening, along with stone painting and a sing song in the teepee.

A bright new day

What a brilliant first night for the 45  boys in the main centre! Lights were off at 10pm and all was quiet by 11.30 - what a surprise!
Girls in the lodges are all well although did not get off to sleep as quickly as the boys.
Quick shower of rain first thing but sky is clearing now.

All children are getting on well together and making new friends. They are getting ready for their first activity while staff have their meeting to plan the day.

Time to explore

Arrived safely at 1 o'clock. Everyone had a good journey with no sick bags required - hurrah! Children are all out exploring their new surroundings with their instructors, working up an appetite for tea.
Tonight we will be going out for a nightlne adventure after tea, as well as gathering some stones from the riverside which we can decorate later on in the week.

Everyone is looking forward to an action-packed day tomorrow with activities such as climbing, gorge walking, biking, tree climbing, archery and orienteering. Look out for some photographs of the groups having fun later tomorrow.
